After the great success of our first ever Wine Connoisseur Evening - where we invited Nicholas Choblet, owner of the award winning French vineyard Domaine du Haut Bourg, to host an evening of sensational dining and exclusive wine – we are pleased to announce that once again we will be delving into the history and rich heritage of the fascinating drink as an accompaniment to a variety of sumptuous food.

On Wednesday 3rd April, one of Italy’s leading wine growers and owner of Vistorta estate, Brandino Brandolini, will be presenting his assortment of personally selected wines to diners at FishWorks Swallow Street, London.  

Situated in the heart of countryside in Western Friuli, the Vistorta estate has belonged to the Brandolini family since 1780.  Brandino, a graduate of Agricultural Science, spent years crafting a range of wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Traminer and Friulano, Refosco and Vistorta Merlot which is now one of the best Merlot’s from Northern Italy.  During the evening, Brandino will take you on a journey through his decision to adopt a new and different model of wine growing and explain how his resultant collaboration with a prominent French winemaker transformed the face of the Brandolini wines. 

Also to be enjoyed on the night are wines produced by Primo Franco, who is without doubt ‘Mr Prosecco,’ who will highlight how, whilst remaining true to tradition, modern day Prosecco can offer completely different styles.

The wines sampled during the evening have been selected, as part of the Sommelier's Choice range, to perfectly complement the stunning 5 course feast, devised by FishWorks award winning Executive Chef, Michael Brown, which heartily embraces the true taste of Italy.
